Our Vision
A society free from drug and substance abuse where all individuals live with dignity, free from harm, and are empowered to achieve their full potential in every aspect of life.
Our Mission
When we work together, we are more effective and believe that as a movement we will foster real change in the lives of individuals and communities affected by drug and substance abuse.
Together, we will:
Collaborate to prevent drug and substance abuse and support individuals who are or have ever been affected by it.
Amplify the voices of those at risk of drug abuse and defend their rights to health, education, and the opportunity to fulfil their potential.
Enhance and strengthen efforts to end drug and substance abuse at every level.
Raise awareness of the harmful impact of drug abuse by encouraging open, inclusive and informed discussion at the community, local, national and international level.
Facilitate learning and coordination between organisations working to prevent and respond to drug and substance abuse.
Mobilise all necessary policy, financial and other support to end drug and substance abuse.
Who we are
BoyChild Kenya is a national organisation working in partnership with community groups, civil society, and youth networks across Kenya to end drug and substance abuse and ensure all individuals can live healthy, empowered lives. For more information on how we function as a movement, see our How we work page.
Our Members
The strength and passion of BoyChild Kenya lies in our member organisations and community partners, who are based across Kenya and beyond. They work to end drug and substance abuse and ensure that all individuals can live free from harm, access support, and build the futures they deserve.

Secretariat and Board
BoyChild Kenya member organisations and partners are supported by a national secretariat and a Board of Trustees based across different regions of Kenya. The secretariat works closely with members and supporters to advance the knowledge base on drug and substance abuse, raise public awareness, and advocate for legal and social change.
How we are funded
The BoyChild Kenya secretariat is funded through grants from governments, foundations, individuals, and other partners. Their generous support enables us to strengthen our programs, support grassroots action, and catalyse broader efforts to end drug and substance abuse. Visit our How we are funded page for more details.
Our History
BoyChild Kenya was founded in 2023 by a group of committed individuals determined to address the growing crisis of drug and substance abuse in Kenya. Motivated by the urgent need to confront the social, health, and economic harms caused by substance use, the founders set out to build a collaborative movement that promotes dignity, equity, and opportunity for all people.
Since its founding, BoyChild Kenya has evolved into a national platform that supports prevention, recovery, education, and advocacy efforts to end drug and substance abuse across all communities.
Rev. Felix is the BoyChild Kenya champion and advocates to end drug and substance abuse and promote the wellbeing, rights, and dignity of all individuals.
