At BoyChild Kenya, we believe no child can learn or thrive on an empty stomach. Our Feeding Programme provides consistent, nutritious meals to vulnerable children and families, ensuring that hunger does not stand in the way of education, dignity, and opportunity.
Implemented at the BoyChild Centre in Kapkirwok, Baringo County, the programme supports children participating in our education, digital literacy, and mentorship activities, while also extending assistance to food-insecure households within the surrounding community. By linking nutrition directly to learning, we address one of the most critical barriers to school attendance and performance.
Impact in Action
Through our Feeding Programme, children are better able to:
Attend school consistently and on time
Participate actively in learning and digital literacy programs
Grow in a safe, supportive environment that prioritizes wellbeing and protection
Beyond the child, the programme strengthens family resilience, reduces negative coping mechanisms linked to hunger, and contributes to more stable, engaged communities.
