Become a Member

By joining our Partnership as a member, you will strengthen the national movement to end drug and substance abuse among youth and empower boys!
On this page, you’ll learn about the benefits of becoming a member and how to apply.

Benefits of becoming a member

If you are a civil society organisation or an individual committed to working in partnership to end drug and substance abuse and empower boys in Kenya, we welcome you to join us.  Membership is free and the application process is simple. We encourage all members to take an active role in the movement by sharing your work, connecting with others, and participating in BoyChild Kenya’s campaigns, events, and consultations. All members must endorse our Mission Statement and Membership Policies.

Whether you’re a grassroots group, youth-led initiative, teacher, counselor, activist, health worker, or simply passionate about making a difference, your voice matters in this movement.

If you’re not ready for formal membership but still want to support our work, you can:

  • Visit our Take Action page to join campaigns, drives, and events.

  • Follow @BoyChildKenya on Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube to spread awareness.

  • Sign up for email updates to receive stories, tools, and news from the movement.

Collaborate for change
Together, BoyChild Kenya members advocate for stronger action on drug and substance abuse and youth empowerment. Many work collectively at the county and national levels to influence policies, promote mental health, and push for effective prevention and rehabilitation frameworks.

Increase your visibility
Member organisations and individuals can raise the visibility of their work by being part of our growing national movement. Members can be featured on our website, social media, newsletters, and national campaigns, helping them connect with partners, supporters, and the media.

Learn from others
Members have the opportunity to connect with peers across sectors, share lessons from the field, and learn from others’ successes and challenges. We also host training sessions, webinars, and forums to help strengthen members’ skills in advocacy, youth engagement, and program delivery.

Power in unity
We are stronger together. Members join forces in national awareness campaigns and advocacy efforts such as the International Day Against Drug Abuse to amplify collective voices and drive change at the community, county, and national levels.

We are looking for new members across Kenya

Drug and substance abuse among youth is a growing crisis that remains under-addressed in many counties. We are calling on individuals and organisations working in prevention, rehabilitation, youth empowerment, and human rights to join us.
