Amos Aengwo

Board Member

Amos Aengwo holds a background in Space Technology and Applied Sciences, with a strong foundation in systems engineering, satellite communication, and geographic information systems (GIS). He brings over 15 years of experience at the intersection of technology, education, and youth empowerment, with a passion for leveraging innovation to address pressing societal challenges.

Amos has worked across government, academic, and nonprofit sectors, contributing to projects that use space-based technologies for sustainable development, disaster response, and environmental monitoring. His focus has been on using satellite data and digital tools to improve decision-making, particularly in underserved communities across Kenya and East Africa.

At BoyChild Kenya, Amos leads efforts to integrate space and digital technology into youth empowerment programs, using data-driven approaches to map risks, track community development, and advocate for policy reforms. He is a champion of tech inclusion and has mentored young innovators to harness science for social impact.

Amos is currently shaping BoyChild Kenya’s digital transformation strategy, building strategic partnerships with academic institutions, government agencies, and global innovation networks to strengthen data-led advocacy and local solutions.
