BoyChild Kenya Launches in Kapkirwok,Baringo County
BoyChild Kenya officially launched its ground-breaking programs in Kapkirwok with a resounding message: “Empowering the Boychild, Strengthening the Nation.” The event, held with great anticipation and community support, marked a significant milestone in the organization’s mission to advocate for and uplift boys across Kenya.
The launch brought together community leaders, parents, educators, partners, and local youth in a united celebration of a long-overdue movement. Presiding over the occasion as Chief Guest was Hon. Wyclife Kipsang Tobole, who delivered an emotional and inspiring keynote speech that captured the heart of BoyChild Kenya’s vision.
“BoyChild Kenya represents hope. It is a bold declaration that our boys matter, that their voices count, and that their futures deserve intentional investment,” Hon. Tobole affirmed.

Speaking as both a leader and a parent, he shared powerful reflections on the unseen struggles boys face pressures to be tough, unspoken emotional pain, and a lack of support structures. His message was clear: it is time to give boys the same attention, resources, and care historically prioritized for girls.
“Empowering the boychild is not a threat to progress it is essential to national healing and unity,” he emphasized.
The launch event also included community engagements, interactive sessions with youth, and a presentation of BoyChild Kenya’s programs, which focus on education support, mental health, mentorship, environmental action, and sports empowerment.
Hon. Tobole urged stakeholders, parents, teachers, mentors, spiritual leaders, and government institutions to join hands in raising a generation of boys who are emotionally resilient, responsible, and values-driven.
“Raise your sons with both strength and softness. Teach them values, responsibility, and compassion,” she encouraged.
He challenged BoyChild Kenya to lead with courage, inclusivity, and long-term vision. “Let this launch be a spark,” he said, “igniting a movement across homes, schools, and counties.”
The launch in Kapkirwok is only the beginning. BoyChild Kenya is committed to expanding its impact across counties in Kenya, with a clear mission to restore balance in gender advocacy and empower boys to reach their full potential.
As the sun set on a successful launch day, the message resonated deeply: our boys are not forgotten. They are the future, and their journey matters.
